A busy weekend

Wow.... that was a busy weekend.  Friday was a quiet day, hanging in the hot sun with uncle J and uncle M.  Uncle J decided to make things interesting and cut his finger doing dishes so needed to go get a few stitches.  I had a great chat with Reuben about how the weekend would work, how much driving i would be doing ect.  It was concluded that i would aim to be in Vernon for 2pm, pick up Reuben and Paul and bring them back to the cabin for the night and come back in the morning for the service.  So i opted to visit Jenn and Jason before getting Reuben after grabbing some groceries and putting them into my cooler with some ice.

Saturday morning we headed out around 11 for vernon and had a great visit with Jenn, Jason and the girls.  Too bad we only see them a few times in the summer.... the girls get along soooo well.  After visiting we went and found Reuben and Paul and headed back to the Cabin.  We had a great time visiting and being around daddy while showing Paul the cabin and the new cabin.  It was so nice to have a hubby to snuggle with again, even just for one night :) oh and Happy Canada Day!

Sunday we were up and at'em early and on the road for vernon at 9am.  We had a great service at East Hill Community church and went out for a leisure lunch after that.  Than we hung out at the Sea to Sea site for a bit and headed back to the cabin after saying goodbye.  We spent the evening in the water with the 30 degree temperature.

Monday Reuben biked from Vernon to salmon arm and then we picked him up to come to the cabin with Peter and Maria, my moms aunt and uncle also doing the ride.  They wanted to come, check out the cabin and the new build and see my parents piece of paradise.  They had a short but sweet visit ad then my parents brought them back to Salmon Arm in time for supper.

Today was a quiet day.  Riley's sleep is getting worse every night i think and sooner or later i am going to break down.  Last night he went to bed at 7:30, was woken by the girls at 8:45, went back to sleep around 9:30 on my chest.  Woke up at 1 am, 3 am, 4:30 and up for good at 5.  I did my best to ignore him but when he sleeps right beside me, well.... he can see me.... So from 5-7 he laid on my chest, thinking he was asleep i tried to lay him down multiple times with him waking up again screaming... needless to say, i had a nap today :) So, please pray for a good night sleep tonight, I need it.  We rearranged the trailer, hoping that now that he cannot see me that will make a difference. The girls, had a great day.  Beppe bought them mini kayaks that they LOVE.  They paddled those things all day long, went for a paddle with beppe, with me, with emily and for a long while themselves along the shore.  They were amazing.  

Anyways, i need to go escape the mosquitos and go to bed... night.

-  tomorrow is a HUGE day.  They are going from Revelstoke to Golden, thru tunnels and massive climbs and a forecast of 35 degrees.  Anxiety is high about the ride tomorrow so please keep them in your prayers
-  please pray that Riley sleep tonight, i need a good sleep :)
