Day 9, Quiet day in Heerogwaard

After a busy day on the boat and at the wedding we had a very quiet day in Heerogwaard.  The girls needed sleep so bad and both had good long naps.  The rest of the day was spent outside, watering plants, playing games and having fun.  Tante Jeltje, Tianna and I went to get some groceries in the morning at the mall and we had a good time.  At the Albert Heijn grocery shop you get a scanner that Tianna used to scan all the groceries into the cart.  She loved pushing the button and hearing it beep.  It was very different and I thought it would be cool to have it in canada.  It also made checkout so much easier, you just put in your scanner, pay and go.  There is a person checking a few items but mostly its done on the honor system.  Fruits and veggies get weighed and a bar code gets printed.  It was very interesting and made for a fun grocery shop with Tianna.

In the evening we took time to make food for tomorrow and then settled down to play some games outside.  We taught Reuben pang and skipbo, two games i have not played in forever!  It was a good evening.
