Our last morning together...

Today started super early.  Riley was up at 5:30 ready to party and Kaydence appeared in our bed shortly there after.... GROSS!  We managed to keep them somewhat quiet till 6:30 but then hungry little man needed breakfast.... and a nap...  Finally after breakfast and some netflix Pake and Beppe arrived and we had coffee before heading to Fort Langley for the early afternoon/lunch.  We hit the jackpot... the school we parked at had a free lunch picnic with facepainting and everything at it so we had a nice free lunch and the girls got their facepainted!  BONUS for me!  After lunch we needed to cool off daddy so he went into the dunk tank that was there... i got him in the water :)  It was fun.  I think he was the coolest of us all on our walk around town as he was soaked from head to toe.

Then it was the time we had been waiting for for the past 18 months or so..... Check in time.  We drove the few moments to Trinity Western and found where he had to go.  Stayed for a little while before the kids got restless and then we said our goodbyes for the day.... Leaving Reuben to get settled in for the weekend, get to know people, attend all his meetings and whatnot.  Being that it was a 30 degree day we went back to matt's place to enjoy his baby pool he got the riley which was great until riley made a mess.... thats right.... your guessing it..... that thing he can do so well now.... too well apparently....  So the pool had to be emptied and refilled with freezing water instead of sun heated water...  Riley LOVES the water, the summer at the cabin will be good for him :)

After sushi for dinner we headed to Emily's dance recital to see her dance.  Kaydence was mesmerized, Tianna watched for the most part and riley slept thru the 1st quarter and wiggled thru the rest but never really put up a fuss.  I was so surprised... 2.5 hours is a long time for a dance recital for little girls.

Now we are tucked into bed, hopefully not starting tomorrow so early but being a east facing building the sun shines oh so early in the morning so chances are slim.  But we will survive.  The opening worship service is at 9am so we will need to be up early anyways.  So now i will say good night and write again about our adventures tomorrow :)

Prayer Requests:
1.  Riley stays healthy or at least keeps pooping normally.
2.  Kaydence and Tianna settle into being away from daddy
3.  Patience for myself as I deal with my emotions as well as those of my daughters... who some days are much to much like me....
4.  A peace and calm for Reuben and the other riders as they get ready to begin this journey of a lifetime across Canada.

Thanks for your prayers, thoughts and well wishes.

Teresa
