Felt Playhouse

The world of felt has been reopened to me from Chandra and a few of her sewing friends.  Many of my ideas for sewing have come from her so i need to give her that credit.

This year for Christmas, with 2 girls i am giving them a felt playhouse for the basement.  It will fit our dinning room table upstairs.  I started a few weeks ago....I know..... early.  But here we go!

Side One:  Entrance

A door that rolls up and snaps with a ribbon to hold it open.  A mailbox for letters that fall into the house.  The House Number is the combinations of birthdays....... November 18 and September 23.... resulting in the number: 1823

 Side Two: Clothes Line
This side will house half a tree with a cloths line and basket.  It will have little pants, skirts, dresses and other newborn items to hang on the line. with a basket to keep them in.

Side Three: Window and Tree (no photo yet)
This side will house a large window with a flower ledge.  It will also hold a basket to put the flowers, vegetables and apples into when they are picked. from the other areas.  It holds half of the tree with velcro apples on it.

Side 4: Garden
This side houses with garden with veggies to pick.  It will have corn on the cobs, carrots and lettuce.  I added a bush with a bird house just for fun!

I am super excited for this project, I am giving myself lots of time to get to done for Christmas so that I can be proud of it.
