An attitude of thanksgiving

Wow, its has been a long month of september.  We have been busy with birthdays and traveling and what seems like never ending potty training and laundry.  I have been sewing a lot to keep myself busy and working on a lot of new projects.

Kaydence, my little darling, turned one on September 21st.  We had a few moms and babies over on Monday like normal to celebrate birthdays and on the following Sunday we had a good time with family and friends at my parents house.  It has been a fast, wonderful and challenging year.  I have learned lots, rejoiced more then once and been mad more times then I can remember.  Here are some photos from the celebrations.

On another note:

At coffee break this season we are studying a book called one thousand gifts.  We are studying the attitude of thanksgiving and challenging ourselves to open and remember the gifts and blessings of the day instead of dwelling on the bad.  Sometimes in society we are focused on the i did not do things and forget to remember the things that put a smile on your face each day.  So, here is my challenge for me and my family:  To open and remember (aka blog) the positives of each day. Whenever a gift is unwraped to remember the smile it put on your face and see how long it takes to get to 100.  My goal is to have 1 Thanksgiving a day.  How about you, can you name and remember the gifts of your day?

1.  Sunday October 2 -  Tianna and I sitting in the backseat of mom and dad's truck as she talks on my cell phone to everyone and their mom.  She starts to talk to the moon about shinning and how he is awake.  The 3 of us could not help but giggle.  She was so cute and innocent and absolutely adorable.

2.  Waking up this morning to Tianna in my bed, she learns over, gives me and kiss and says, I love you mommy.  So precious i just wanted to hold her and kiss her and enjoy that moment of quiet before the day began.
