Twas a sad day, it was to be our last. We still had a lot we never thought to do. The morning was breakfast and packing to go back to Zwolle. We were trying to rack our brains as to what we wanted to do. There were so many things we did not get to do and so many things we wanted to do.
- We had not toured a Windmill
- We had not seen any downtown areas or old churches
- We had not had time to pick up some souvenirs expect a few cards
So many things and not enough time. We concluded we would go to downtown Zwolle, see a few things and pick up a few more things. We went a climbed the tallest church steeple in Zwolle, all 364 steps to the top of the tower. The girls stayed at the bottom with Tante Hennie getting ice cream while Reuben and I climbed. The view was amazing. I was so mad at myself for not bringing the camera. I had brought it everywhere else we had gone except today. Reuben got a few photos with his phone so that was good but i was still mad.
The view from the top was amazing. I have never been one scared of heights but i was so glad the girls were not there. It was old and i am sure very secure but it was so windy i thought i would blow away. The stairs going up and down were crazy skinny, i was glad we did not meet anyone on our journey. Too bad i was wearing my boots, my feet were killing me by the end of the descent.
Anyways, we survived, Tianna got her ice cream and then we found a few more shops and went home. Our last supper was good, fellowship was even better and we had a great night. No one wanted to go to bed because it meant the morning was coming faster. We had a great vacation but did not want to go home. We could have spent so much more time there exploring and seeing Holland. Soon it was time for bed as our eyes were dropping so off we went, dreading the morning.
