This morning we awoke in Workum. Kaydence was up a few times over night and had a slight fever but we found a tooth in her mouth so that explained everything. She has not been herself today and has not want to drink her bottle but we will see what tomorrow brings.
When we woke Pake and Beppe were eating breakfast because Pake had to go to the dr this morning. Tianna and I ate together and than Reuben came down with Kaydence. It was a nice and quiet morning. We played with the girls, watched the boats from inside and than went for a short walk to the bridge to watch the boats go under. Tianna and I did not grab a coat (just sweaters) so the wind was rather cool so we came back. When we got back Kaydence was not happy so Dad and Tianna went to look at more boats while I settled Kaydence down for a nap.
While Kaydence was sleeping Tante Klassje and Sonne Lobke came for coffee. Tianna and Sonne Lobke blew boubles outside and than it was time for them to go home. When they left we went for another walk to see the boats with Kaydence in the sling and came back for lunch. After lunch the girls went for a nap as did Beppe and Pake. I sat down to read and slept and Reuben went outside to sit and watch the boats. Tianna woke up 45 minutes later and Kaydence 2 hours later. Tianna went outside with Reuben for yogurt, a drink and more boat watching. She loves the boats if you did not notice. For you who do not know my grandparents house is on the main canal through Workum and has some very big boats coming through.
Once Kaydence was awake Jeroen and the family came for coffee and to pick up their car. For the rest of the trip we will be using Pake's car so he needed to get his back to Peize. We had coffee with the family and then took the kids to feed the ducks in the park. When we got home a huge boat was sitting futher down the canal so I went inside to grab the camera and found Oma Chris and Tante Jeltje at the house for coffee. So we took a quick photo and went into the house. This boat however was massive..... it could hold a party and beds for 50 people.... crazy! Jeroen says that alot of kids who are 15-16 rent this boat for graduation becuase they cannot go to the bar yet and this is a good way to have a fun party. After our walk Jeroen's family switched carseats back to their cars and went on their way home. Chris and Jeltje left shortly after.
Than it was time for a late dinner, bed time and now blog time. It was been a busy day and tomorrow we go to Joure with the family to celebrate Christina's birthday. I am going to have a shower and go to bed so to everyone in Calgary..... have a good rest of the day! Slappen Lekken!
