The last week of June Tianna was in Pedalheads bike camp to learn to ride her 2 wheeler with pedals. She is now a big girl riding away everywhere we go. It only took 1 day and she was riding like a pro and the second day could start on her own. I am one proud momma!
Now everywhere we go we need to take her bike. It is great to walk places and have to almost run to keep up with her. Now i just have to work with Kaydence and get her going faster on her run bike so we can all walk together instead of me walking in the middle of them telling Tianna to wait and Kaydence to keep going.
After bike camp we enjoyed the hot weather by putting a tarp under the slide and turning it into a water slide by putting the sprinkler on the top. I got to sit on the tarp in the water while the kids had a blast going down the slide through the water.
We also got to make a trip out to Spruce Meadows to enjoy watching the horses and the dog show. It was a cooler evening with some rain but we had fun in the quietness of the evening. My kids LOVE spruce meadows
Lastly we even got to go to a Stampede Breakfast. It was also a slower morning as the clouds were heavy and rain threatened the morning but we survived. We were one of the first ones there so we got a lot of things done before most people came :) We even convinced the girls to finally get their faces painted, they had never been willing to do it before Saturday.
So that was the first 2 weeks of summer.... what will be next.... maybe a very last minute trip to the cabin but I will write about that tomorrow!
