Life without patterns

So.... Here we go again.  On numerous occasions I have been told to make a pattern for my sleep sacks and I keep saying.... no, I do not need them.  This week has been a week where I should have used a pattern.  I got a request for a size 2/24month sleep sack.  I got the length however, my daughter who is size 2 and a skinny size 2 at that was not able to close the sleep sack around herself..... big problem.  Now I have to re due the sleep sack and try again.  This time, I am sure it will be wide enough..... i just shack my head and laugh at myself.  So, when the two are done, a comparison photo will arrive on site to show the size difference.... hopefully this next one will be much more successful!
