This winter i discovered a problem with Slinging Kaydence. With Tianna i did not sling her as much as Kaydence so when we went for a walk outside she was usually in the stroller. However this year with Tianna walking with me its easier to sling Kaydence than stroller her, especially in the snow. However my coat cannot close over my sling so my neck was always getting cold so i started thinking about different solutions.... wearing a scarf or a fleece neck warmer or a vest type thing that i was picturing in my head. So i began to search online. I found a photo of a cover from Peekaroo that i tried to duplicate. So i got out some pieces of fleece i had laying around and made one. Now i have to say that its not the neatest thing in the world and i could have done it much better but its done and i stay warm while slinging Kaydence. Here is the photo of my creation.
Let me explain a little. The top has a zipper to fit my head through. Than her head has an opening. The bottom has an elastic to keep us both snug. Than the duck fleece is pleated so that as she grows she has room in there for me and her.
